I started the renovation of this garden by removing all existing walls and old foundations. I then replaced all foundations and added a new foundation to around the pond area to allow for pond to be raised in height for greater effect. I then built all walls using second hand York stone walling which was then weather painted.

Pond was constructed using Butyl liner. Filter boxes and UV light were added to improve water quality. Filter boxes had bottom drains for quick and easy maintenance and were enclosed in a timber frame. To finish area off, I laid York crazy paving around pond area to give sitting area and path to link with house.
